Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa kelas dua SD Inpres 26 Klamono Kabupaten Sorong. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022-2023. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis data dilakukan melalui proses reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kemampuan menulis permulaan kelas dua SD Inpres 26 Klamono Kabupaten Sorong cukup baik. Hal ini ditandai dengan kemampuan sebagian besar siswa yang dapat menulis permulaan dengan baik dan benar. Hanya ada empat dari 19 (sembilan belas) siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar menulis permulaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar menulis permulaan dapat digolongkan menjadi dua, yaitu faktor internal seperti kurangnya perhatian dan minat belajar serta faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan sosial dan keluarga
