Focus and Scope

Sarasvati is a journal aims to be a peer-reviewed platform and an authoritative source of information. We publish original research papers, review articles and case studies focused on modern literature, oral literature and children literature as well as related topics. All articles are peer-reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers. Sarasvati is managed to be issued twice in every volume. The scope of Sarasvati is:

Peer Review Process

Sarasvati reviewing policies are:

  • Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers.
  • Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers.
  • Reviewing process will consider novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.

 

Open Access Policy

Sarasvati applies an open online journal system or open acces journal. It is conducted to accelerate the process of information exchange on language and literature studies and their educational aspects. Users of Sarasvati can register online by the following rules.
• Readers will receive notification after registering as users.
• Authors can submit their articles to the editorial staffs through open journal system (OJS).

 

Peer Review Process

1) The suitability of the theme with the Sarasvati Journal mission;
2) Conformity between Title, Abstract and Keyword;
3) The relationship between the title and the substance of the writing;
4) The flow of thought and continuity between subsections in the article;
5) Novelty bibliography;
6) Other comments;
7) Conclusions.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. 

 

Publication Frequency

Sarasvati journal is a Journal published online twice a year in the middle of the year (June) and in the end of the year (December).

 

Open Access

Sarasvati provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public to supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Plagiarism Check

Every article accepted by Sarasvati shall be an object to Plagiarism Checker or Turnitin writing-enhancement program conducted by Sarasvati Editorial Board

 

References Management

Every article submitted to Sarasvati shall use reference management application e.g. Mendeley

 

Copy Editing and Proofreading

Every article accepted by Sarasvati shall be an object to Grammarly® writing-enhancement program conducted by Sarasvati Editorial Board.
