Journal Description

Jurnal Ilmiah Kedokteran Wijaya Kusuma (JIKW) is a peer reviewed periodically scientific publication that contains articles written in the English language . JIKW receives articles in the field of Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Public Health. JIKW is published by the Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of University of Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya. JIKW published twice a year in March and September. JIKW only publishes manuscript that have never been published in other journals. Authors who wish to publish in JIKW need to follow the JIKW guidelines. The manuscript submission and peer review process are done online.

The accreditation status has been achieved according to the Decree of Director General on Strengthening Research and Development of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia 158/E/KPT/2021, December 27, 2021, accredited as SINTA 3.

Template Change
Jurnal Ilmiah Kedokteran Wijaya Kusuma informed to the authors that the journal writing template would change beginning with the publication of Volume 12 Number 2 in September 2023. The new template writing format consist of abstract, introduction, material and methods, result, discussion, conclusion, conflict of interest, acknowledgements, and reference. The template used single collumn instead of double collumn and the layout has been adjusted Citations and bibliographies are formatted according to APA guidelines and Mendeley application is a mandatory.
