Focus and Scope

Journal Trapsila focuses on theoretical issues and pedagogical practices in elementary education.

The Journal welcomes submissions on all aspects of Elementary Education in the form of articles that report original research, analyze practice, discuss local and national policy and initiatives, offer a comparative perspective on research and policy and report on major research projects.

Journal Trapsila contains research publications in the field of Elementary Education, including Civic education, Character Building, Bahasa Indonesia, English Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Arts, Instructional Media, Learning Technology, and Elementary School children Psychology.

The focus and scope of this journal are:

  3. Elementary school literation.
  4. Elementary school learning media.

Peer Review Process

The suitability of manuscripts for publication Journal Trapsila is assessed by peer reviewers and editorial board. All the review processes are conducted in a double-blind review. Editor in Chief handles all correspondence with the author and makes the final decision as to whether the paper is recommended for acceptance, rejection, or needs to be returned to the author for revision.

Editor in Chief and Editorial Board will evaluate the submitted papers on the prequalification step for the suitability of further review process. The manuscripts will be evaluated by two qualified peer reviewers selected by the Editor in Chief. The peer reviewers should examine the manuscript and return it with their recommendation to the Editor in Chief as soon as possible, usually within 3 weeks. The Editor in Chief decides the acceptance or rejection of the paper.

Papers needing revision will be returned to the authors, and the author must return the revised manuscript to the Editor in Chief via OJS of Journal Trapsila. The editor in Chief sends the revised manuscript to the Editorial Board to check whether the manuscript is revised as suggested by peer reviewers. Editorial Board could give the recommendation to Editor in Chief that the manuscript should return to authors, accept, or reject within 2 weeks. Editor in Chief would send an acceptance letter announcing the publication issue attached with manuscript reprint to authors. 

 

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Journal Trapsila is published twice a year, in July and December.

Journal Trapsila is an open-access journal. As an open-access journal with no subscription charges, a fee is payable by the author or research funder to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.
