Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study were (1) To determine the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Belang Turi Village, Ruteng District, Manggarai Regency, (2) To determine the influence between the role of agricultural extension agents and the development of farmer groups in Belang Turi Village, Ruteng District, Manggarai. This type of research was quantitative research. the variables in this research consisted of the independent variable X (the role of agricultural extension workers) and the dependent variable Y (development of farmer groups), the data collection technique in this study was through questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis used is using a Likert scale, Pearsen product moment correlation analysis, and simple linear regression. The results showed that: 1) the role of agricultural extension workers in the development of farmer groups in Belang Turi Village was classified as good with a value of 75.91. 2) there is an influence between the role of agricultural extension workers (X) and the development of farmer groups (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 and the magnitude of the influence value is 0.647.
