Urban Farming is an alternative solution to address limited agricultural land in urban areas while supporting food security. This study aims to analyze the level of community participation in managing Urban Farming in Surabaya City, focusing on economic, ecological, socio-cultural, educational & tourism, and health aspects. The study was conducted from April–June 2025 in three farmer groups in East Surabaya, involving 50 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results of the study indicate that overall Urban Farming has been running quite optimally, especially in the ecological, socio-cultural, educational & tourism, and health aspects, which received high scores on the importance and performance dimensions. The health aspect shows the highest satisfaction between community expectations and implementation in the field. Conversely, the economic aspect still shows the lowest performance with the largest gap, indicating the need for strengthening in terms of yield management, market access, and community economic empowerment. Thus, Urban Farming in Surabaya has been proven to provide significant environmental, social, and health benefits, but further strategies are needed so that its economic contribution can be optimally felt by the community.
